The child, the body, his movement and his Identity

When the child enters kindergarten, he discovers the others: a universe in which he began to socialize. He learns, he listens, he speaks, he learns to communicate. He also learns to know better and to know his body.

The practice of Biodanza at school is an extracurricular activity. His practice promotes the development of the child, contributes to the conoscence of his body as well as develops a harmonious relationship and the construction of a healthy identity.

"The body is a means of relation to the material and human environment, and the affective pathway plays a considerable role. It is an active process of construction, starting from the real experiences of the subject, his desires and his needs that processes the knowledge of the body. the love of itself, the bodily identity thus depends on the presence of others, of the social group" Paul Schilder (1935).

The more children experience their own body, the more they communicate with others, the more they acquire a precise image of their body.

Child Identity Enhancement

All the positive emotions experienced create psychologically a nourishment that is good for the body, for the nervous, immune and endocrine system. These sensations are viscerally, organically and psychologically. This together contributes to a better perception of self and participates in the construction of the child's identity. We know that the body retains sensations, these sensations are healthy learnings for the growth of the child.

The practice of Biodanza with children is to encourage, to develop, to fruit and to consolidate the genetic potential that is the ground of identity.

Music

Music promotes growth in the child

Music nourishes Identity.

Music corresponds to an awakening. It facilitates a space where all emotions are expressed like a rainbow of colors.

Music is recognized for its neurological benefits. In efeftti, neuronal connections develop through stimuli that the child receives, what is called the "enriched environment".

The "enriched environment" is nothing more than the implementation of a large amount of positive stimuli or positive eco-factors.

The person who interacts with these stimuli is said to be capable of resonance.

THE BODY SCHEMA in the child develops through the following factors:

- an understanding of his own body

Relationships with others

- the laterality

- space-structural structuring

In Biodanza we invite the child to be in an action that comes from himself, rather than expressing a reaction, express a response of adaptation to a stimulus (pro-active): the child is invited to propose what is, what he feels and wants.

Music

The practice of Biodanza is able to generate new neuronal connections by creating stimuli, echoes positive factors such as dance, listening to music, the space of encounter, contacts, play, looks... these connections form networks and it is these new networks that generate changes in our lives.

These neuronal networks are healthy because they feed on integral vivencias whose ingredients are joy, pleasure, dynamism, courage, friendship.

Biodanza proposes to develop sensitivity to musical art.

In biodanza, music is the first composition of the music-movement-movement methodological unit and its function is to induce movements.

Biodance opens up to music culture.

The musical heritage used is rich and very diverse:

classical music, jazz, film, Asian, African and much more.

It is always organic and used with wisdom.

It allows the child to listen to foreign music, making it easier for him to access curiosity, to the desire to discover, to take an interest, to open himself to the world.
